The following stanzas are not the exact translation of Hanuman Chalisa; these lines contain the English meaning of Hanuman's glory in forty stanzas.

Jai Hanuman!

I hereby cleanse my heart mirror by my Gurudeva’s feet dust and begin to explain the flawless glories of Lord Sri Rama, the best of Ragu dynasty who showers all the four kinds of blessings.

Hey, son of Vayu! My knowledge is shortened. I meditate Thee Oh, Son of Vayu (air), shower me with all the strength, knowledge and true wisdom. Oh, Lord, relieve me from all my errors.

Oh Anjaneya, Thou possess the knowledge and all the best characters as the large ocean; the Leader of all vanaras (monkeys); Thou maketh all the three worlds get sense, Victory to Thee!

Thou, Sri Ram’s messenger; source of all the positive strength; named as Anjana’s son and Vayu puthra!

Thou art the great warrior possessing powerful the blessed body; Thou leave the evil Thoughts far away; Thou art the companion of good Thoughts!

Thou have been blessed with graceful yellowish golden colour;  Thou have been dressed with great garments; Thou wear the glittering ear studs in Thy ears; Thy hair locks art as pretty as the waves!

Thy hands art decorated by thunder and flag; Thy shoulders have been decorated by the ‘Munjai pul’ named ‘Poonul’, the sacred white rope!

Thou art the incarnation of Lord Shiva Himself; Thou art the son of Raja Kesari; the world bows as on Thy divine brightness and enormous bravery!

Thou art a Scholar; Thy knowledge and wisdom is boundless; haveth the sharpness of knowledge; delightfully waits for Sri Ram’s service!

Thou feel much delight on listening to the Lord’s greatness and fame; Sri Ram and Mother Sita lives in Thy heart with Lakshman!

Thou appeared as a miniature before Mother Sita and burnt Lanka with Thy enormous Universal form!

Thou completed the Lord Rama’s work by destroying the demons with Thy magnificent form!

Lord Sri Rama how fondly embraced Thee when Thou brought Sanjeevini herb for Lakshman!

Lord Rama has praised Thy greatness and fondly announced Thee as equal to His brother Baratha!

Lord Rama has embraced Thee and stated that the Thousand headed AthiShesha also praises Thee!

Saints with Sanaka, Devas with Lord Brahmadev, Lord Siva, Mother Saraswathi, Saint Naratha, AthiShesha, Yama, Kubera, Guards of all Directions, Poets and Artists tried to explain Thy greatness and they couldn’t complete all Thy greatness!

Thou have done an incomparable help to King Sugreeva by introducing him to Lord Rama and brought back his own throne from Vaali!

All worlds know that by following Thy advices, Vibishana became the King of Lanka!

Thou Thought the Sun as a fruit from sixteen Thousand miles away, and swallowed Him!

Thou flew over the sky and crossed the large ocean, biting Lord Rama’s ring; Thy deed is not a an amazing one when compared with Thy usual deeds and powers!

With Thy blessings, all the works will be done so easily regardless how difficult those are!

Thou art the guardian of Lord Rama’s reign; none could enter wiThout Thy permission!

One who surrenders Thee, attains all the joys in life; why should fear or afraid of anything when Thou art being the Saviour!

Thy powers would be controlled by Thee alone; all the three worlds shiver before Thy powers!

No devils and giants will approach those who utter Thy name as ‘Mahaveera’!

Diseases and sorrows vanish by chanting Thy powerful name, continuously!

Thou sets free from all the sufferings of the one who chants Thee by heart, words and deeds!

Thou completed the works of Lord Rama who satisfies the desires of those maintaining penance!

With satisfying all the desires, the devotee acquires the eternal Almighty’s blessings!

Thy flawless divine name has been praised in all the four eras namely Kirutha, Thretha, Dvapara and Kali Yuga. Thy graceful name has been praised greatly all over the Universe!

Thou save the good hearted and the scholars; Thou destroy the evils as a close one to Lord Rama’s heart!

Mother Sita has blessed Thee as Thou would bless the eight types of Siddhis and nine types of great values to those who worship Thee for the same!

Thou haveth the essence of Sri Rama Devotion; Thou ever live as Sri Rama’s servant!

One who worships Thee, reaches Lord Rama; the sufferings that follow him from all his births are being removed from him!

The one reaches the abode of Lord Sri Rama and he would be called as the devotee of Lord Hari!

All kinds of happiness, comforts and blessings will approach the one who worships Thee alone!

All kinds of suffering will get rid off to those who think of the Almighty Hanuman!

Oh, Anjaneya! Victory, victory victory to Thee! Oh, Parama Guru, bless us!

One who chants these divine lines a Thousand times, gets detached from all the worldly obstacles and experience the divine delight!

Lord Shiva blesses the one who chants the Hanuman Forty! He attains the completeness!

Thulasidas, the ever servant of Him prays that the Lord would ever stay in your hearts!

Let Sri Hanuman, the one who destroys all kinds of sufferings, the Head of the Devas and the son of Lord Vayu Deva would stay in your hear with Lord Sri Rama, Mother Sita and Lakshman!
