The Eleventh Rudra Incarnation of Merciful Lord Siva

Lord Sri Hanuman is the eleventh Rudra Avathar of Lord Siva.

 Lord Siva has incarnated in a monkey form, that is, monkeys are said to be the forefathers of human beings.

Lord Siva has chosen Anjana and Kesari as his parents.

Lord Siva reasonably incarnated as Sri Rama’s Servant in order to make Saivam and Vaishnavam as one. 

Lord Siva in monkey form has been baptized as ‘Maruthi’.

Little Maruthi, once thought the Sun God as a fruit and swallowed Him. Indra Deva hit Him with His Vajrayudha at Maruthi’s mouth, to release the Sun God. the Vajrayudha hit Maruthi’s face and wounded Him. From that incident, Maruthi was called as ‘Hanuman’.

Maruthi is very fond of His mother and mother Anjana loved Him more than anything in the world. She has given freedom to achieve His desires and serve Lord Rama, whole heartedly. Maruthi is named as Anjaneya, Anjana’s lovable son. 

Lord Hanuman’s service to Mother Sita is incomparable. Mother Sita fondly accepted Him as Her first son.

Lord Hanuman saved Lakshman from death by fetching Mount Sanjeevini. 

Not only brother Lakshman, He has saved Sri Ram and Lakshman from Ahi, Mahi Ravanas.

He has saved Mother Sita in Asokavan when She tried to kill Herself.

When He was a child, His mother Anjana’s curse as a monkey came to an end and she had to return to Alkapuri, the adobe of Lord Kubera. Little Hanuman flew to Lord Yama facing several obstacles and brought His mother’s life back.

Little Maruthi saved His father’s life when Kesari was struck by a demon’s fatal weapon. Little Maruthi learnt Sanjivini Mantra and saved his father from death. 

Lord Hanuman ever safeguards His devotees, EVER.
